Memphis fitkids is a project funded by the fedex institute of technology and implemented by the University of Memphis School of Public Health, working with several community partners to develop an electronic tool to help parents understand their children’s risk of obesity, and provide recommendations for healthy living. FitKids is a web-based application to assess behavioral risk factors for obesity, provide lifestyle change recommendations, and link parents to community health resources.
